6 am, the alarm rings, get ready for another working day.
7 am, office’s getting crowded. People look like zombies on a screen.
Hour by hour, coffee-by-coffee, stupid chats during lunch break.
The apathy is eating me like a desert vulture.

I’ve never got so busy as this,
I’ve never grown so bored as this,
Let me grab a pill.
Let me get out.

3 pm, work is over, but I don’t want to go home.
I’ll go to the gym first, to get rid of toxins and be fit.
I’ll meet the mates in the park, nothing but having a six-pack.
After that the way home, looks a bit like the Green Mile.

The truth is I want time for myself and I wish to find the balance
Looks like you’re just an illusion, it’s hard to get closer
You could be my only diversion, the only way to escape
But I’ll just stick to my routine some more.

Finally home, changed my clothes, it’s time to turn my pc on.
I will sing and play, until my voice fades out.
Mommy’s ok on the phone, and finally let me get some sleep
Touch me to sleep, and stop, rewind and repeat it all tomorrow.
